How SweepstakesVIP collects, uses and protects member data, including offer partner data sharing, cookies and your privacy rights.
This policy explains what information SweepstakesVIP collects, why we collect it and the choices you have. It applies to sweepstakesvip.com and any related services.
Information we collect
- Account data — email address, display name, password hash, and optional country.
- Activity data — VIP Point transactions, giveaway entries, referral relationships and completed partner offers.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and pages visited, used for security and fraud prevention.
How we use it
We use your information to operate your account, credit VIP Points, run random winner draws, contact winners, prevent duplicate accounts and fraudulent offer completions, and improve the platform. We send service emails about your account, entries and prizes; marketing emails are optional and can be turned off at any time.
Offer partners
When you choose to start a partner offer, that partner receives an anonymous member identifier and technical data needed to confirm completion. Completion confirmations are returned to us over a server-to-server connection. Partners handle any information you submit to them under their own privacy policies. We never sell your email address.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for signing in and keeping your session secure, plus limited analytics cookies that help us understand aggregate usage. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though sign-in will not work without the essential ones.
Retention and security
We keep account and activity records while your account is open and for as long as needed afterwards to meet legal, tax and prize-record obligations. Data is stored with encryption in transit, access controls and row-level database permissions.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated records. Deleting your account forfeits any remaining VIP Points and removes pending entries. Email support@sweepstakesvip.com to make a request.
Children
The platform is for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and accounts found to belong to minors are closed.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will notify members by email or an in-app notice before the change takes effect.
